Mikki Vogt, LPC, LAC, NMCF
Co-Founder of NeuroAlchemy
-
Mikki Vogt, LPC, LAC, NMCF is a licensed therapist, clinical supervisor, and educator specializing in integrative approaches to mental health and psychedelic-assisted therapy. With over a decade of experience supporting individuals through trauma recovery, addiction, and spiritual emergence, Mikki blends clinical precision with reverence for the sacred in her work as a clinical facilitator, trainer, and community leader.
She is the co-author of Colorado’s Standardized Safety Screening and Response Tool, a foundational protocol designed to promote ethical integrity and participant safety in altered states work. Her leadership in developing this framework has informed both state and national conversations on responsible psychedelic facilitation. Mikki also contributed to policy development for Colorado’s state-regulated Natural Medicine Program, helping to shape guidelines that balance accessibility, cultural humility, and public safety. Her policy work reflects a commitment to collaboration among mental health professionals, community advocates, and regulatory bodies to advance the integrity of this emerging field.
As a co-founder of Colorado’s first licensed healing center, and a co-founder of the state's newest healing center, NeuroAlchemy, Mikki helped bring the state’s visionary natural medicine framework to life. Through this pioneering effort, she has supported the creation of safe, inclusive, and ethical environments for transformational healing within a regulated system.
Mikki is also the developer of Colorado's first Facilitator Training Practicum that bridges the gap between theory and applied practice for emerging natural medicine facilitators. She leads ongoing consultation groups for practitioners, offering mentorship in ethical decision-making, trauma-informed care, and integration practices. Her work fosters a culture of reflective professionalism, attunement, and accountability among those serving in the field of altered states and natural medicine.
Grounded in her background as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor, Mikki holds advanced training in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, and trauma-informed care. These modalities form the clinical foundation of her work, informing every aspect of her facilitation and supervision.
As a natural medicine facilitator, Mikki’s approach weaves together neuroscience, somatic awareness, and deep respect for the mystery of transformation. Her facilitation style blends clinical expertise with ceremonial sanctity, honoring the sacredness of the medicine while grounding the experience in evidence-based therapeutic methods. A distinctive element of her practice is the use of olfactory pairing, a technique that harnesses the brain’s heightened neuroplasticity during psilocybin sessions. By pairing specific scents with moments of profound healing, clients create sensory anchors they can revisit during integration—extending and deepening the impact of their journeys.
Mikki’s private practice, SisuWell, reflects this synthesis of science and soul. Named for the Finnish word sisu—an embodied form of resilience, courage, and perseverance—SisuWell embodies the qualities Mikki seeks to cultivate in her clients: not only the illumination of insight but the enduring strength and trust in one’s capacity for healing and transformation. Her work at SisuWell centers on helping individuals embody their healing, reconnect with their innate wisdom, and integrate transformative experiences into daily life.
Through her clinical work, teaching, and policy advocacy, Mikki continues to champion the development of a safe, ethical, and inclusive ecosystem for natural medicine work in Colorado and beyond. She bridges worlds—clinical and ceremonial, personal and systemic, sacred and scientific—inviting others to participate in the ongoing evolution of psychedelic-assisted care.
Mikki’s professional vision is rooted in compassion, presence, and respect for the mystery of healing. Whether developing safety frameworks, guiding a client through trauma integration, or mentoring facilitators in reflective practice, she brings forward a consistent ethos: that transformation flourishes when care is grounded in integrity, humility, and heart. -

Vince Bruno, LPC, NMCF
Co-Founder of NeuroAlchemy
-
My personal experiences with psilocybin have created a deeply respectful relationship with psychedelics as a healing tool for those with treatment-resistant issues. I approach each client with curiosity and attentiveness to their perceptions and experiences, creating a partnership aimed at healing and growth.
Professional Background and Interests
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 18+ years of experience as a trauma therapist serving active duty and veterans, I've specialized as a play therapist with neurodivergent populations and a decade of work as a state-approved domestic violence treatment provider. This work has provided me with a lens to identify symptoms of trauma at all ages and stages of development. I have experience with somatic and sensory work that applies to the use of psilocybin as a means of healing deep and unidentified preverbal traumas.
Approach to Psilocybin Sessions
I take a comprehensive approach to natural medicine treatment, integrating intergenerationally (family) transmitted traumas, music therapy in support of the journey, and somatic interventions to address all of the client's parts and experiences. Natural medicine work is a sacred duty on the part of the facilitator, and I have tremendous respect for the medicine and the ancient cultural traditions that have sprung from it.

Mae Podesta, NMFIT, Certified Executive Coach
-
Mae is a licensed psilocybin facilitator and certified executive and transitional intelligence coach who helps people navigate threshold moments with a blend of groundedness and wonder. She works with individuals seeking deeper meaning and authenticity in their lives, as well as those in transition - whether stepping away from careers that no longer fit, reimagining life's purpose at midlife, or breaking through patterns or beliefs that have long obscured their authentic selves.
Mae knows what it feels like to be stuck, ready for change, and in search of meaning. After two decades in corporate and startup environments, she found herself burned out and disconnected from herself. Change wasn’t linear - she rediscovered psilocybin and embarked on a spiritual journey that continues to reshape her life today. These experiences taught her that true transformation is not a single breakthrough, but the courageous, ongoing work to weave insights into everyday life.
In her practice, Mae brings a deep reverence for the medicine and a trust in its intelligence to meet people where they are. She creates containers where people feel safe, supported, and truly seen—spaces that honor both the rigor of the work and the mystery of what unfolds. Her approach weaves together intentional preparation, journey work, and the sustained support needed to integrate insights into daily life and relationships.
Mae has a particular understanding of people who've spent years achieving, optimizing, and performing—and who've arrived at the quiet question of whether there's something more. She gets the tension between wanting change and not knowing how to step off the treadmill. Her work is for those ready to move beyond surface fixes and into the deeper territory of remembering who they are beneath all the doing.
Outside of work, Mae is an avid hobby explorer who finds joy and meaning in nature, learning new things (currently trapeze), and volunteering with animal rescues. She believes that play, creativity, and connection as essential ingredients to a life fully lived.

Mae offers a package of 2 preparation sessions, an administration session, and 2 integration sessions for a cost of $1,500.

Kristin’s approach to healing includes blending Eastern and Western somatic modalities with cognitive and transpersonal psychology to bring awareness to your bodily sensations. With a strong focus on mindfulness, this process allows you to become aware of your thoughts, feelings, and sensations and how they manifest in your mind, body, and spirit. She is passionate about weaving together a creative process to assist individuals with personal growth and deep knowing.
As a clinical therapist, Kristin has extensive training and practice in EMDR, yoga therapy, hypnotherapy, shame resilience, CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, psychoeducation, ego state interventions, and sound therapy. Kristin’s history as an educator stems back 35 years, including Information Technology (IT), Physical Education, Holistic Health/Wellness, and Psychology. She has worked for several organizations as an educator, including Saddleback College, Mission College, Kaplan University, and the College of San Mateo.
As a clinical medicine facilitator, Kristin relies on the wisdom and sacredness of plant medicine, while incorporating evidence-based therapeutic approaches. A unique aspect of her approach is to incorporate the client’s own sacred/ceremonial traditions, while using breathwork, mantra, intention, and sacred objects to support and anchor clients through their journey. By doing so, clients can later reflect and return to these techniques during integration, thereby further developing and deepening the outcomes of their experience.

Shannon started her career off as a nurse working in a variety of medical settings. She then received her master’s degree at University of Colorado, Colorado Springs as a Family Nurse Practitioner. After working closely with ketamine as a healing modality, she returned to school to focus on becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
As a psilocybin facilitator, Shannon guides individuals through transformative experiences with care, presence, and deep respect for each person’s unique path. Her approach is rooted in warmth, empathy, and professionalism, creating a safe and supportive container where clients feel truly seen, heard, and held.

Rachel Swanson, LCSW, NMFIT
-
With nearly two decades of clinical experience as a licensed psychotherapist, my work as a psilocybin facilitator is grounded in a deep understanding of psychological change, relational dynamics, and the conditions that support meaningful and lasting growth. I am trained in evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed care, and relational work including Internal Family Systems, all of which inform how I prepare, support, and integrate psychedelic experiences.
I bring a steady, attuned presence to this work. I pay close attention to emotional tone, patterns of meaning, and moments of insight as they arise, and I meet each person with respect for their pacing, agency, and inner wisdom. I value psychological safety, thoughtful preparation, and grounded, clinically informed integration that helps translate experience into lived understanding.
Outside the therapy room, I’m an endurance athlete and lifelong mover. I’m drawn to long efforts, grit, and the steadiness that comes from being in the body for extended stretches of time. I live in Colorado because the mountains, trails, and open space feel essential to how I stay regulated and grounded. Each summer, I return to the Midwest to “wild swim” in Lake Michigan—reconnecting with family, friends, and the particular joy of moving in a body of water that’s always changing, on shores that still feel like home.
These experiences naturally shape how I work. I respect the nervous system, the wisdom of the body, and the reality that meaningful healing is rarely linear. Like endurance, it is often about pacing, listening closely, and staying with what is true—especially when it’s uncomfortable.
At the heart of my approach is trust—trust in the process, trust in the medicine, and trust in the individual’s innate capacity for insight and growth. My role is to offer a steady, attuned container and skilled support so people can meet their own experience with honesty, depth, and care.

Vivian Shyu, PhD, NMF
-
Vivian is deeply committed to expanding access to safe, ethical, and meaningful healing practices. She approaches psychedelic-assisted work not only as a powerful clinical tool, but as a space that invites profound reflection, connection, and transformation. Grounded in humility and care, she holds a deep respect for both the science and the mystery of these experiences, recognizing that when skillfully supported, they can open pathways to healing that are at once deeply personal and profoundly interconnected.
Vivian is a developmental cognitive neuroscientist and Teaching Professor of Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver, where she also serves as Director of Education and Training at the CU Denver Center for Psychedelic Research. Her academic work explores the dynamic relationship between mind, brain, and behavior, with a focus on how we grow, adapt, and change across the lifespan.
Her path into this work began at a psychedelics conference, where she was struck not only by the strength of the scientific evidence, but also by the depth of compassion and shared humanity within the community. Over time, her relationship to this work has continued to deepen—shaped by an increasing sense of awe, reverence, and respect for the unknown. She has come to see these practices as touching something both universal and deeply human: our capacity for connection, for meaning making, and for holding both beauty and sorrow at once.
Vivian has completed training in both MDMA-assisted and psilocybin-assisted therapies and serves as a co-facilitator on a psilocybin-assisted therapy clinical trial. As a facilitator, she strives to create spaces that feel safe, grounded, and attuned—while also honoring the sacred dimensions that can emerge. She believes deeply in each person’s innate capacity for healing and approaches her work with openness to the many ways that process may unfold.
Outside of her professional work, Vivian values time with family and friends, especially when it’s lively, imperfect, and full of laughter. She is equally drawn to the quiet awe of nature and the adventure of travel—especially when paired with good food. For her, these moments reflect the heart of facilitation itself: creating space for connection, presence, and the full richness of being human.

Tanner Oliver, LCSW, NMFIT
-
Tanner Oliver is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) specializing in behavioral treatments for anxiety disorders, emotional dysregulation, borderline personality disorder, high-conflict couples therapy, and trauma. He is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and exposure-based approaches — modalities that emphasize both acceptance and change, a dialectic he carries into his work with natural medicine.
Tanner’s interest in natural medicine grew from a deep desire to help clients reduce suffering as quickly and effectively as possible. Just as evidence-based behavioral therapies provide powerful tools for change, he views regulated psilocybin-assisted therapy as a valuable complement that can open pathways for rapid insight and emotional processing — pathways that ongoing therapy can then help integrate and sustain.
Tanner’s facilitation style is grounded, present, and attuned to each client’s needs. He draws on his clinical training while holding space for the more open and emergent qualities of the psilocybin experience. He is especially drawn to working with clients who want to integrate natural medicine experiences into ongoing therapeutic work.
-
Individual Journey – $2,500
Includes:
2 Preparation Sessions (50 min each) — Orientation to natural medicine, screening, setting intentions, and preparation for a safe and fruitful experience.
1 Administration Session (6–8 hours) — Guided psilocybin experience.

William "Sandy" Pryor, MA, LPC, NMFIT
-
William "Sandy" Pryor MA LPC NMFIT brings over 20 years of clinical experience and care to the natural medicine space. A native of Washington D.C., Sandy trained at Naropa University and Numinous to receive his Psychedelic Assisted Therapy certification. Sandy brings a blend of warmth, humor, and deep compassion to his work.
Sandy specializes in working with chronic pain, trauma, and mood. "In my 20 years of clinical experience, I have come to view the line between physical and emotional pain as less and less distinct. Sensation (cognition is a sensation btw) is energy and when we block or resist the flow of that energy, suffering arises. Suffering is pain times resistance. Pain can be our greatest teacher. The mushroom has an incredible ability to help us open to the lesson."
Sandy's primary focus is safety. "Our ability to let go and open to the deepest levels depends on our sense of security. Am I safe here?
